Chef Lubos Hlahulek began his culinary training in the 90's in Austria and Germany, as well as studying at the Karlovy Vary Culinary Institute in the Czech Republic.
In 1996, he accepted the position of sous chef at the Hotel Moskva, Czech Republic. Chef Lubos left the Czech Republic in 1997 and continued his career in the United States as sous chef for Janousek Inc. in Norcross, Georgia. The Janousek family has been associated with the food service industry for over 50 years. He became Executive Chef in 1999 and remained until the restaurant was sold.
He then accepted a position as Executive Chef for Anthony's Fine Dining, one of Atlanta's most recognizable restaurants. His duties included leading the kitchen staff, creating menus, food cost planning and food purchasing. This position brought him experience in a la carte menus, banquets, wedding and corporate parties.
Lubos moved to Breckenridge in 2008, a location that indulged his love for skiing. He worked as an Executive Chef in Vail Village for five years and then partnered with Silvie's Services, LLC., to establish its private chef services in the town of Breckenridge.
